We would like to introduce ourselves. We are the Kremer family: Joyce & Cornelis, daughter Sophie and our dogs Matz and Odin. In the Netherlands we both worked in aviation at KLM. That's the place where we have met. In October 2022 we left for the green heart of Portugal and our new adventure began. Our daughter goes to school here and we are your hostess and host during your stay here in Ninfas Mágicas.
Joyce
After twenty years as a flight attendant, it was time for something different. I wanted to continue caring for and helping people - I already noticed that when I worked for KLM. I always enjoyed being able to offer a listening ear.
After my training for Cranio Sacral Therapy, I followed a two-year course to become a Holistic Coach (specialization in stress and burnout) and successfully completed it. In 2007 and 2022 I followed various Mediumship and Healing courses at the Arthur Findley College, in Stansted, United Kingdom. After this I first followed some individual courses. These include Healing Mediumship, Trance & Physical Mediumship and meditation techniques. Subsequently, in 2018, I started a three-year course at the Academy for Mediumship in Naarden. I learned how to connect with people in a beautiful and loving way through spiritual coaching and help them with the resulting energy.
I have also developed in Trance Healing & Sound-Therapy. I also completed training in Trauma Release & Breathwork. This year i am training to become a Yin Yoga Teacher.
I am creative and like to clear my head this way. In therapies I can perfectly combine my training and creativity. I do this, among other things, by creating mood boards in combination with healing strategies. I now want to continue this here in Portugal in the form of small group retreats.
Cornelis
After 45 years in aviation and having seen a large part of the world, I finally landed in central Portugal. Quinta de Moenda is a heavenly spot between the Serra do Açor and Serra da Estrela nature reserves and is located on the banks of the Alvoco river.
For me and, in my opinion, for several people, this is a place where you can relax and find your true self. It is a place in the middle of nature filled with life energy.
My current activities are maintaining the Quinta and supporting my wife in her coaching activities. I do the latter mainly through my knowledge of the philosophical doctrine of 'Human Design'. I developed myself extensively in this area during the last years of my flying career.
My life motto is 'Sat Chit Ananda', or: 'Absolute Bliss. Consciousness (ABC). Namaste.
Back to the present
We took over Quinta da Moenda in October 2022 from a Dutch couple who have run this beautiful Quinta for seventeen years. We would like to continue this and add some extras. We do this by organizing mindfulness retreats in the spring and autumn. The theme of these retreats is 'stand in your primal power', in connection with nature, silence, sound and Human Design.
Picturesque
The former olive mill is now our home and the former distillery has been converted into five comfortable, clean and cozy self-catering holiday apartments. The swimming pool and patio with outdoor kitchen, barbecue and grill, as well as our sauna, are exclusively accessible to guests. Your holiday home contains extensive information about tourist trips and various dining options.
